Right after the girls and boys return from their spring break, the requests for beach bedding sets start to roll in. After being beach bums (or babes) for a week, the teens are so reluctant to leave the fun behind that they are consumed with the need to gather beach theme bedding and beach theme bedroom decorating ideas.
Teenage girls and boys still in high school want to bring souvenirs from their vacation back with them and put them on display in their rooms at home and college kids want to give the dorm room one more makeover even though they are leaving in another month or two.

Stylish beach theme bedding for older girls (at the time of this article) might have a comforter covered in palm trees. The younger teen and tween girls are in love beach themed bedding sets with quilts appliquéd with wild colored flip flops and sunglasses while young ladies who are all about fashion prefer beach hats and bikinis.

HAWAIIAN VINTAGE and MORE!
One style that is a favorite of mine is vintage beach bedding with scenes from Hawaii including hula girls, palm trees and a volcano somewhere in the background. However, I don’t get to use play with this style of decor very often unless a Hawaiian theme is specified. Why people don’t consider beach themed bedding and Hawaiian bedding to be similar or at the very least compatible is beyond me.

BEACH COTTAGE
Beach cottage bedding is another favorite of mine has less to do with sun, sand and sea creatures as it does atmosphere. Here’s where vintage quilts and slightly shabby bed linens shine.
