BLACK and WHITE THEMED BEDROOM IDEAS

Here's my comforter set and some black and white themed bedroom ideas that I'm working on and want to see what you think. The reason I want a black and white color scheme is because my bedroom has been decorated in all kinds of colors over the years and I want something different.

Plus, my bedroom is small and I want to make it look larger so white walls were a must.

The only problem we are running into is money. I have to recycle as much of my bedroom furniture as I can to have cash for my black and themed bedroom ideas that are going to be expensive like the bedding set that I bought and the rug.

So, I repainted my dresser and chest of drawers and plan to recover and the headboard of my bed in white or black vinyl. I thought about painting everything glossy black but I was afraid that black furniture would counteract my efforts to make the bedroom look spacious so everything got a coat of white paint and I am going to replace the drawer pulls with either these polka dotted ones or black glass knobs.

Now I have to find curtains that I like and I was wondering should I use solid white or black window treatments or find some fabric with polka dots. I could use some recommendations for a light fixture and table lamps if anybody has time.

I hope you like my black and white themed bedroom ideas and can give me some tips on how I can finish the room.

Black White Dots and Flowers Comforter Set

I looked for the black and white floral print comforter with the polka dots but didn't find the exact one...but got VERY close. HERE IT IS!

if you want to take a look.

The comforter is identical, but the polka dots on the sheets are slightly larger than the ones in the original picture. Hope this helps.

The black and white drawer pulls
with the polka dots on them are cute but they seem too casual for the polka dot comforter set and style of decor you described.

And if you use a black or white vinyl headboard they are just not sophisticated enough for everything else you've already bought, in my opinion.

I found these black glass knobs and I wanted to show them to you because they have a polished finish unlike the polka dot black and white drawer pulls in your pictures of your black and white themed bedroom ideas. They aren't round but they are flower shaped and your comforter set has flowers on it, so what do you think? Do they look like something you might be able to use on a white painted dresser? Or would clear glass pulls be better?
