You see, funky does not indicate a color and sadly, funky is not a pattern. Believe me when I tell you that my work would be a breeze if it was that simple. Loosely defined, funky in the mind of a tween or teen girl is the latest, cool thing. And that could be anything from polka dots to zebra stripes and all points in between depending on the time of day as decorating trends change with lightning speed especially with young girls.

Depending on whether your budget calls for cheap, bed in a bag sets or if there’s money on tap for more expensive designer sets will determine where you load your shopping cart with bed linens. When looking for cheap, but quality bedding and decorations EBay is the place to go.
THE BOTTOM LINE
The truth is that a savvy decorator can take practically any color or theme and make it funky.
