There are, many pink bedroom designs that are considered just as appropriate for a pink baby girl’s nursery as they are for an older teen girl’s pink college dorm room. A few themes that come to mind that are excellent examples would be a pink French poodle or a Parisian bedroom or a bedroom decorated with hot pink and zebra print bedding sets.
The key to successful pink bedroom designs no matter what age the child is to keep that pink under control! A pink bedding set and a bedroom full of too many pink and white decorations can put even the frilliest of girly girls into femininity overload. This is where basic black and shades of brown and gray come into play and in my opinion, save the day when decorating a girl’s bedroom in pink. As a matter of fact, pink and brown AND pink and black bedrooms and bedding sets are so popular that there is no end to the new bedding sets using this color combination and I adore both (but must confess to a preference of pink and black).
