Ralph Lauren Edgefield Bedding

I just gave my son's bedroom a makeover using the Ralph Lauren Edgefield bedding collection as my inspiration for the room's color scheme. The fabric that I preferred is the Ralph Lauren Edgefield plaid but there were also floral and houndstooth print fabrics in the collection as you can see in the pictures.

Like you, I'm no fan of floral prints but I love the earth colors in the plaid comforter. The plaid pattern has a mix of olive and loden green, tan and burgundy, pretty much the color combination that this designer is famous for. I honestly don't know why they bother with the embroidered "RL" logo anymore because you can spot his comforter and sheet sets in bedroom designs from a mile away.

If you have another client that mentions a (dreaded) preference for floral, you might want to keep the Ralph Lauren Edgefield bedding collection in mind and focus on the plaid and houndstooth fabrics and keep the floral limited to a throw pillow or two.
