Simple Shabby Chic Girls Room Ideas
Pink and white shabby chic teenage girl's bedroom
My simple shabby chic girls room ideas came from finding lots of empty frames and a plain, undecorated grapevine wreath at a local thrift store. I knew they had possibilities the moment I saw them but didn't have a clue as to what that might be until I got them home.
I went online to read a tutorial on how to make fabric rosettes and used a few scraps of material from the rag bag to make some flowers for the wreath but it still needed something.
Then I found a good use for one of the picture frames; framing the wreath!
Finding those empty picture frames for a $1 each really saved the day and kept the total price of the bedroom makeover less than $100!
The twin size, vintage iron bed
had been a rusty old thing that had been stored in a barn for years from the looks of it. With lots of sanding and many cans of white spray paint, it looks fresh as a daisy!
The night stand's oak finish was given a makeover in pink and then decorated with an old milk glass lamp and other do-dads until I find something I like better. The empty white frame on the wall behind it is one of my thrift store finds that will remain "as is" for the time being. The exposed wire adds a little something, doesn't it?
The next mission is to find the perfect vintage vanity table
