Tinkerbell Bedroom in Antique White and Salmon Pink

I am looking for some cute Tinkerbell bedroom ideas so that I can finish decorating my tween girl's room. Ever since Tinkerbell comforter sets came out my daughter who is a huge fan of all things Tinkerbell (and how could anyone who has ever watched Peter Pan not be?) has wanted to decorate her big girl bedroom in a Disney fairy theme.

Since she's growing up so fast, I can't miss out on what may be my last opportunity to decorate in a girly theme!

Tinkerbell Bedroom Ideas

I want to work with the existing wall paint color, bedroom furniture and bedding set and create the Tinkerbell theme using decorations that will be easy to change out when she hits the teen years and will surely want something more mature.

I just can't see springing for an all-out expensive makeover only to replace everything in a few years. I just want my tween to have her wish and have the room decorated with fairies at least once before she gets too old to enjoy magical creatures.

But I just can't seem to get started! Can anyone suggest some cute comforter sets and wall decorations so that I can have her bedroom decorated soon?

Tinkerbell Bedding for Teen Girls
by: Anonymous

Is your pre-teen happy about keeping that pink comforter?

You might get more use out of a Tinkerbell bedding set than you think. I've seen some Tinkerbell comforters that are not so "baby" that a teenage girl would hate them.

I know grownups that are getting Tink tattoos!

Color matters more than the theme in this situation, there are some very adult pink and black Tinkerbell bedding and comforter sets for sale not that you'd want that for a girl as young as yours. I'm just saying..Tink's not just for little girls.

Good Start

LOL I can feel your frustration and your need to get the room decorated but the poster and having made your decisions as to what stays and what goes in the room is actually a pretty good start!

If I were you, I'd look on Ebay for some auctions and pick up some collectible figurines to put on shelves or on her dresser.

Bedrooms filled with too much themed stuff look cluttered to me.
