Girls Black white and Hot Pink Tropical Bedding Sets w Hawaiian Hibiscus Flowers Print Comforter
Most tropical bedding sets are too colorful for me but this black, white and hot pink set was just right! When I think of my island vacation my thoughts run toward exotic colors that I associate with hibiscus flowers, especially the pink hibiscus.

I've even thought about adding shades of orange
to pick up the colors of Hawaiian birds in my bedroom design. Actually, the color that I was looking at was more of a mango or melon color but when I saw the layout of colors on my design board it was just not me. What I finally realized is that I can have an Hawaiian bedroom theme without using such a broad range of bright colors. I don't even have to use blue as much as the ocean plays a part in the beach experience.
Tropical bedding sets with very few colors can be just as dramatic as those with a lot of brighter colors expecially when they have pretty images of hibiscus flowers, scenery or leaves.
If I decide that I need more color, I might buy some artificial silk palm trees to put in a corner of the bedroom or buy some puca shell wind chimes that will chime whenever the ceiling fan is running. By the way, the fan has carved wooden blades that look like the leaves of a palm tree.
The palm tree, shells combined with the outlines of the hibiscus flowers on my tropical bedding set will keep the color scheme of the bedroom simple while it's not identical to spending time on my favorite island, I can use my imagination to take me there mentally and still enjoy the uncomplicated, peaceful atmosphere.

This is just my opinion, but I'm not sure that I would vary from the colors in your monochromatic tropical comforter set with the artificial palm tree. The wooden fan and the puca shells have neutral colors and the green of the palm tree leaves might look out of place. But sometimes you can't know until you try and I would love to know what you decide!
